Joanna Ambrosiadou
Co – founder Joanna Ambrosiadou brings a combination of business strategy and industrial heritage to Marvera. A marketing executive at Ambrosiadis SA, one of Greece’s largest vertically integrated poultry industries, she is deeply knowledgeable of both corporate demands and entrepreneurial needs.
With an academic background in Business Administration and an MSc. in Marketing, Joanna has held executive roles within the family group, conversing with the senior leadership team on strategic business development issues. She understands that successful commerce requires strong products, reliable operations and expert teams. At Marvera she capitalizes on her expertise and experience to develop shipping solutions that food manufacturers and suppliers can trust.
George Chatzigavriilidis
Co-founder George Chatzigavriilidis represents the legacy of Vikre SA, a brand that has been combining tradition with innovation for more than 45 years and 3 generations. Developing from operational roles on the plant floor, into making executive decisions on strategy matters, he is amongst a few people in Southern Europe who can claim to know the meat processing industry inside out. During the years, his expertise grew steadily and robustly; since 2020, it extends beyond the factory plant, heading international trade and export operations.
He brings to Marvera the Manufacturer’s perspective on sourcing, collaborating and trading. His vision is to clear away the inefficiencies of traditional shipping and provide extra value to our clients by offering them the same level of discipline in logistics that Vikre family has applied to food production and to global commerce, for generations.
